This holiday, we've set our sights high for BC's kids.
We've launched the largest virtual snowball fight in the province in support of BC Children's Hospital. The idea is simple: every donation that's made from November 13 - January 6 will translate into one snowball that's thrown. Our goal? 10,000 snowballs thrown province-wide. And we need your help to get there.
How to get involved
Start your own fundraising page
1 DONATE Encourage your office to make a personal donation. This can be done by setting up an online snowball fight fundraising page, or collecting donations and submitting them afterwards.
2 ACTIVATE Use your imagination to come up with a fun snowball event. Stuck for ideas? Don’t worry, we’ve got some great suggestions to get you started.
- Empty your recycling bins and throw your own office snowball toss
- Throw an online fundraising challenge between departments (or your executive team!)
- Relive your childhood with an office snowball fight
3 CELEBRATE Record your company’s snowball fight through video or photos and post socially so others can see how you supported BC Children’s. Don’t forget to tag @bcchf and #snowballfightforkids. We’ll be featuring some of the best of what we see on our channels.
Planning an amazing snowball fight for your office? Tell us! We’re looking to film some of the best activations in the city.
1 SELL PAPER SNOWBALLS BY DONATION We'll provide you with snowball paper icons that you can sell for a suggested minimum donation of $1, $2 or $5 at the till.
2 SHOWCASE YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT Have customers write their names on a snowball and creatively put them up in your retail space to show your support for BC’s kids. Interested? We can provide you with:
- Paper snowball icons
- Promo stickers for staff to wear
- Stickers to give to customers who've donated and joined the snowball fight
