For the past 30 years, Save-On-Foods has worked together with our 16,000 team members, hundreds of supplier partners and hundreds of thousands of our customer to raise more than $30 million for BC Children’s Hospital. These funds have helped support capital improvement projects, important research initiatives and advocacy programs designed to help keep our kids safe by reducing preventable injuries.
In 2016, Save-On-Foods pledged to raise $15 million in support of BC Children’s Hospital’s new Immunization Project and the Save-On-Foods Cares Urgent Equipment Fund. Proceeds raised will support a new, ground-breaking Immunization Project geared toward children of all ages including infants and their parents with a focus on kids with complex medical health issues. It will also provide BC Children’s Hospital’s expertise to medical practitioners across the province in need of patient immunization consultations. The Save-On-Foods Cares Urgent Equipment Fund will ensure the outstanding medical specialists at BC Children’s Hospital have the critically-needed equipment they require to save young lives.
This commitment brings our all-time giving to $45 million - making Save-On-Foods the biggest donor of all time to BC Children’s Hospital.
We are grateful for the amazing commitment and fundraising efforts driven by our Save-On-Foods team members who encourage the generosity of our customers and suppliers.
