I have been part of the Dr. Knox community for 8 years. Each year, when this assembly comes and goes, I am filled with admiration and gratitude for our school community. I have always felt sad that I have not participated in something so important. Over the years, our school has raised more than half a million dollars for BC Children's Hospital. 

While I have been fortunate enough to not have personally needed the services offered by BC Children's Hospital, as a teacher and parent, I value and respect the amazing care this hospital has offered many of my students over the years. 

This May 30th, I will be cutting 10 inches off my hair to donate to Eva and Co Wigs (partnered with Wigs for Kids). Please support me in helping me reach my personal goal of $1,000 and our school goal of over $14,000 this 20th year of Bald Falcon!
