In celebration of the International Youth Day, our long standing supporter - the Young Ambassador Program (YAP) is partnering with D2D destiny Foundation to host a virtual fundraising event on August 12, 2020, with the hope of bringing together some of the most talented youths from all over the world to support BC Children’s Hospital Foundation for the most urgent need in times of the pandemic. 

As this year also marks the 10th anniversary of the Young Ambassador Program, this will also be a celebration event to give thanks to all our young volunteers for their tremendous support dedicated towards the BC Children's hospital over the past decade. By reaching the fundraising goal, this will bring YAP to reach the $2 million fundraising milestone for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation

Information of International Youth Day:

The International Youth Day began in 2000 and was organized by the United Nations to celebrate the contribution that young people make in education, employment, conflict resolution and social justice. It seeks to highlight the ways in which the engagement of young people at the local, national, and global levels is enriching national and multilateral institutions and processes.

BC Children's Hospital Foundation

Every element that makes BC Children's Hospital so important to BC's kids would not be possible without the generosity of our supporters and friends. From the tiniest toy that puts a smile on a youngster's face to the groundbreaking pediatric research that's helping to find better treatments and cures for many devastating childhood diseases, your donation helps ensure that the most precious members of our society - our children - receive the best possible care.
