BC Children's Hospital Foundation

As part of so many vast changes in the world since 2020 our thoughts   may have gotten lost. For some of us the opportunity to re-think our everyday existence and what we may or may not have been able to do. Riding snowmobiles is somewhat of a privilege for those of us who do,with that said we can strongly consider others who may not have these privilege's and perhaps struggle to even get  outdoors. We want to help and perhaps provide opportunity for some people in need get outside a smell snowflakes.
Please let us  help  friends in need we can do that its easy when we open our hearts.

When I was a young child I remember sharing spirit and partaking in fundraising events hosted by snowmobilers and snowmobile clubs.
It was a way to give back and we feel it has been forgotten.
 As the current president of the Kelowna Snowmobile Club , I wanted to host this event and show the kindness of the snowmobile community by giving back! We are pleased to host this event for two of our favourite charities. My partner and co host of this event suffers from congenital heart issues and She gives me strength, courage  and ambition to create and event that whole heartedly gives to those in need! 

Event Details:

Event: Kelowna Snowmobile Club Charity Poker Run

When: Sunday Feb.20,2022

Where: Graystokes Provincial Park ( Three Forks rd off Hwy 33)

Time: 8 am 

Each rider will travel to designated stops via snowmobile for a contact free Poker Run.  

Funds raised will be donated to the BC Children's Hospital Heart Centre, which provides health care, education and support to children and adolescents living with heart disease. 

Every element that makes BC Children's Hospital so important to BC's kids would not be possible without the generosity of our supporters and friends. From the tiniest toy that puts a smile on a youngster's face to the groundbreaking pediatric research that's helping to find better treatments and cures for many devastating childhood diseases, your donation helps ensure that the most precious members of our society - our children - receive the best possible care.
