Welcome to the Fundraising page of
The Superheroes of Research

Dear Colleagues,

I'd like to invite you to become a "Research Superhero" by supporting BC Children's Hospital Foundation's Campaign for BC Children.

At CFRI, researchers and clinicians work hand-in-hand to understand the causes of childhood diseases and find better treatments to help every child to have the best start in life.

In 2011/12, BC Children's Hospital Foundation provided $9.8-million to CFRI through their annual funding. Our researchers use this support to leverage external grants: for every $1 that CFRI receives from BC Children's Hospital Foundation's annual funding, more than $6 of child health research is performed by CFRI investigators.

Please consider any amount that you can give, and connect with Janice Williams at the Foundation (tel: 604-875-2677, jwilliams@bcchf.ca). Donations raised throughout the year from the CFRI family are celebrated during a cheque presentation at the Miracle Weekend telethon each June, and in this way, demonstrates and publicizes our support.

If you are able to consider a larger gift, the Foundation's Hospital Family Matching Gift Program may be of interest, and Janice can provide you with more information.

BC Children's Hospital Foundation has been a tremendous supporter of research at CFRI. I hope you will join me in supporting the Foundation.

Sincerely,
