BC Children's Hospital Foundation

Over the past three years, Bear and Landon have collected toys and tablets and raised funds for the hospital. These gifts are a welcomed comfort and diversion for what can often be a difficult time for patients and their families, as BC Children’s sees the most acutely ill children in the province.

The toys that end up in “Santa’s Workshop” bring so much joy not only to the patients, but for siblings in the family, while the tablets help keep them connected to the outside world. During the winter months, there can be a surge of respiratory and flu-like illnesses, asking hospitals to continue to be vigilant by taking extra precautions to minimize the risk of patients becoming sicker. This results in the need for bedside activities and digital devices to keep the patients entertained.

It is passionate, generous donors and fundraisers like Bear and Landon, who step up, think big and lead with heart to ensure patients and families enjoy a bit of holiday cheer. We are extremely grateful that Bear and Landon are organizing this independent fundraiser for a fourth time, and for their incredible continued commitment to supporting kids in BC Children’s Hospital.
