4th Annual Hoops for Kids Basketball Tournament
The 4th annual Hoops for Kids Basketball Tournament will take place at the Langley Events Centre on July 6 and 7. All proceeds will go towards BC Children’s Hospital. There will be food, music, festivities and some great hoops! This year’s tournament will be full-court 5 on 5 basketball instead of 3 on 3. Hoops for Kids started with a few goals in mind:
- To support the excellence in child health care for the sick kids of British Columbia
- To mentor and set a positive environment for youth and young adults in the community
- To build an annual tournament to raise funds for a great cause but create a positive atmosphere to educate the youth in the spirit of giving, volunteering and just having fun. A perfect example of kids helping kids!
Last year’s tournament raised over $20,000! We will have a Men’s and Co-Rec Division this year.
Registration:
Registration is done by making a donation under your team name. The cost is $250 per team. Click on the "Donate Now" button and choose "corporate donation" option. Your team name is entered as the company name. You must have a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 10.
Co-Rec participants must have a minimum of two women on the court at all times.
