Hi friends and family!
Thanks so much for visiting our page! Recently our mom cut her hair really short! I asked her why she decided to do that. She told us she wanted to donate it. I didn't understand at first, but then my mom explained it to us some more. She said there are some kids who get sick and lose all their hair. When we donate our hair, we can make wigs out of our hair so another child could wear it and it could hopefully make them feel better. I now know how lucky we are to be able to have such long and beautiful hair. So my sister and I decided we wanted to help some kids too. We are going to get our first hair cut together and donate our hair! We are asking our friends and family, to join us by donating a few dollars to help kids fighting cancer. Hopefully then, some other child can feel as happy as we feel when we're twirling around and dancing carefree!
Let's come together and help my girls reach their goal! I aim to book their appointments beginning of July!
Wigs for Kids BC (W4K BC) helps kids living with cancer, live better. A proudly volunteer-run organization, W4K BC provides funding to cover the cost of custom-made human-hair wigs for children and teens at BC Children's Hospital who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment or other serious illnesses. Donations to W4K BC also help families pay for medications and feeding supplies that are essential for treatment but not covered by their medical plan. By contributing to W4K BC, you are making a tremendous difference in the lives of children living with cancer - and their families - across the province. Thank you for your support.
