Did someone say TACO EATING CONTEST!? Who doesn't want to see how many tacos they can eat! I am very excited to be raising money and taking part in the Dinnell Realestate Taco Challenge! I'd like to share a couple of my wig stories. First my Nana, who is very dear to me, battled cancer for 5 years while I was in elementary school.  I was a bit young to understand what was going on. But she would come pick me up from school with different-colored hair. I later found out she had been going through chemo and lost all her hair, hence the wigs. She fought and beat cancer and is now a Great Nana to our son. Later in life I grew my hair when I was 19 for over a year and cut it and donated it to wigs for kids. Then I met my amazing wife who now grows and donates her hair every 2 years to wigs for kids, she has just cut it and will be donating along with the money we raise. Please help support this awesome cause and event and let kids and Nanas look great when battling cancer.

Wigs for Kids BC (W4K BC) helps kids living with cancer, live better.

A proudly volunteer-run organization, W4K BC provides funding to cover the cost of custom-made human-hair wigs for children and teens at BC Children's Hospital who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment or other serious illnesses. Donations to W4K BC also help families pay for medications and feeding supplies that are essential for treatment but not covered by their medical plan.

When a child has a serious illness it takes an enormous toll on the entire family–both emotionally and financially. The assistance W4K BC provides makes the family's burden a little lighter so they can focus more of their time and energy on caring for their sick child.
