Welcome to the Fundraising page of
Reid van Rossum

Each year, a child is chosen to be the “champion child” for BC Children’s Hospitals’ Festival of Trees. This year, Reid was chosen as the champion for the Victoria event – and after the year he’s had, this is the perfect way to CELEBRATE!

Our family is so proud of Reid and his strength throughout his whole life of hospital visits and operations. He has never ceased to amaze us with his resilience and capacity for joy, even on the hardest days. It is our deepest hope that by sharing his story and our family’s experience that we can give another family strength and hope when faced with a child with congenital heart disease (CHD).

For those of you who don't know Reid's story of being born with Pulmonary Atresia with intact ventricular septum, you can read all about it here :)

In celebration of the 2016 Festival of Trees and the countless miracles BCCH has performed, Reid has set a fundraising goal of $1000 in online donations that he will present to the Foundation on November 16 when we are in Victoria for the Gala event to kick of the season of giving. Our endless gratitude to everyone who has supported us through all of the ups and downs and to those who are able to support Reid’s fundraising goal this holiday season.

With love and gratitude,
Brad, Andrea, Alexa & Reid van Rossum
