Welcome to the Fundraising page of
The Sandler Family's Fight For a Cure For Epilepsy

On December 1, 2012 our family was excitedly preparing for a 40th birthday when an unexpected event happened that changed our lives forever. There was a sudden crash in Juliette's room and we found her on the floor shaking and trembling, gasping for air and her body was blue in colour. We were panicked and my husband held her helplessly while we called 911. Juliette has Epilepsy, a condition we knew nothing about.

Juliette is now 14 years old and in the last six years we have had many struggles as a family. Over nights at BC Children's, early morning tests, sleep deprivation tests, medicine changes, scans, MRIs, psychological testing, and academic testing just to name a few. We are fighting to find a cure with research for this condition that affects 1 in 26 people over their lifetime. March is Epilepsy awareness month and we are hoping that you will consider making a contribution no matter how big or small to BC Children's Hospital and specifically Dr. Mary Connolly to help raise money for epilepsy research.

Thank you for your support!
