Wigs For Kids

École Moody Middle School of the Arts

Wigs for Kids BC (W4K BC) helps kids living with cancer, live better.

Please join Ms. Jung, Audrey T. (Div. 3),  École Moody Middle School of the Arts' students and staff in this important fundraiser to support kids who could really use a confidence boost and new look while they are battling cancer or other illnesses such as alopecia.

It costs $2000 to make 1 wig with donated hair! Please join us in helping at least one child feel better about themselves as they are undergoing treatment and fighting to be stronger again!

Did you know? Ms. Jung, Ms. Turje, Ms. Paquette, Isabella, Ava and Adria are all supporting this event with hair donations! 10" will be donated for a good cause!

Paul Bousaleh of PaulBHair.com, Ms. Jung's stylist will donate his time along with 1-2 other local stylists! Thank you for supporting us as we engage in "Real Acts of Caring" because February is Kindness month.

*Note: EMMSOTA Water Pod has a fundraising page and so we will tally the totals together at the end of this month! Thank you for donating your hair or money!

Stay tuned for highlights @43Moody

Wigs for Kids BC (W4K BC) helps kids living with cancer, live better.

A proudly volunteer-run organization, W4K BC provides funding to cover the cost of custom-made human-hair wigs for children and teens at BC Children's Hospital who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment or other serious illnesses. Donations to W4K BC also help families pay for medications and feeding supplies that are essential for treatment but not covered by their medical plan.

When a child has a serious illness it takes an enormous toll on the entire family–both emotionally and financially. The assistance W4K BC provides makes the family's burden a little lighter so they can focus more of their time and energy on caring for their sick child.

By contributing to W4K BC, you are making a tremendous difference in the lives of children living with cancer - and their families - across the province. Thank you for your support.
