Welcome to the Pie Throw Fundraising page of
Jason Courneyea (MineralsEd )

Welcome to my fundraising page for the 2025 Mining for Miracles Pie Throw! Pie Throw is the B.C. mining industry’s signature event in support of BC Children’s Hospital. Each year, leaders from across the industry are paired in a friendly fundraising competition. Participants who raise the most money get to throw a cream pie in the face of their competitor.
This year, our goal is to raise $2,000,000 at Pie Throw to support the new centre for health complexity which is close to starting construction.
The BC Children’s Hospital centre for health complexity will be for young people living with complex, chronic conditions who have difficulty performing routine daily activities without assistance, have significant caregiving requirements, and frequently use the provincial health care and social systems. Mining for Miracles’ goal is to raise $6 million for this project over the next five years.
You can support my efforts to raise funds for BC Children's Hospital Foundation by making an online donation today. It is through the generosity of individuals and corporations in our mining community that we are able to positively impact the lives of children in BC.
Thank you for your support!
